EMLinQ acquires a PEMTRON TROI-7700HL Color 2D+3D Solder Paste Inspection machine

The PEMTRON TROI-7700HL Color 2D+3D Solder Paste Inspection device helps to catch solder paste defects caused during the screen printing process by using “both 2D colored images with 3D measuring data to provide detailed and accurate 3D color images.”

This allows the operator to monitor and control the application of solder paste, which provides accurate height calculations and better repeatability for our customers’ PCBAs. The PEMTRON TROI-7700HL can measure solder height from a range of 0-450um, analyze individual pads, give a color map view of solder disposition data, and inspect glue; to name a few of the machine's features.

Our Program Engineer, Linh Nguyen, has been specially trained by PEMTRON representatives to interface with the machine's software, and to teach the SMT operators how to work with such advanced solder paste inspection. EMLinQ expects the PEMTRON to be extra helpful when it comes to placing complex components, which have become a large part of our growing business.
